Yes, it was very worthwhile!

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The courses offered to international students were limited but the language courses were really great. Students were placed in classes with teachers who are knowledgeable in both languages and want to help students learn the language.

On-site administration of your program

The international office was very helpful and was able to answer all of my questions without any issues.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

My living arrangements were very nice and clean. The rooms weren't too small they had enough room to accommodate me and my luggage.

* Food:

I had to make my own food. The kitchen area was nicely kept and has many features.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The local culture was very inviting and people were very friendly.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I was never in need of health care.

* Safety:

Saftey was never an issue I always felt safe

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

It was quite expensive but not too over kill.

I was able to communicate in English but Japanese was always and option and they were willing to help me if I made mistakes.

The Networker
