So worthwhile! I would not have known any of the technical, professional and practical skills I do now if it weren't for the program! - University of Virginia View Entire Review
I learned about everything design - from design theory and fundamentals to software tutorials, I gained lots of knowledge that I will take with my into my future career. I also gained lots of professional development as well. - University of Michigan - Ann Arbor View Entire Review
I learned about Berlin's culture and history. I learned all about the fundamentals of design theory, how to design a logo and work through the process, create a brand for a company, use Adobe Creative Suite as well as Figma, and work in a team. There is so much more I learned on this trip but it would take too long to list, it w... - University of Michigan - Ann Arbor View Entire Review
I reflected on what I'm studying in school and where I want to take my studies, which lead me to realize what I want to pursue in the future. Apart from academic insights, I learned a lot about myself and another culture. It was absolutely worthwhile. - Tufts University View Entire Review

About

Imagine mastering the design skills necessary to succeed in any career, or learning how to solve challenges for big businesses, all while summering in the start-up capital of Europe and earning college cred!

Founded by Yale graduates, iXperience is an innovative 6-week credit-bearing summer intern abroad program (academically sponsored by the University of Virginia) that combines the three most important aspects of learning in one incredible package, designed to accelerate professional and personal growth.

Take a 6-week, 6 credit intensive course and internship in Visual Design or Management Consulting taught by industry experts.

All of our programs begin with a week of Global Studies immersion into your chosen city. Take classes about the city's history, culture, and current events to understand your context. Explore your surroundings through iX-sponsored excursions.

Then, you'll enter 2 weeks of classroom learning, apply your newly-acquired skills in an internship with a local company where you'll get the chance to flex your skills with a real-world experience designed to bolster your resume, supported and up-skilled by your teaching team and mentors.

Throughout, you'll enjoy personal growth while exploring a new culture and city, with a group of like-minded university students from across the globe.

We're dedicated to helping students unlock their true potential. Our active group of over 1400 alumni can attest to this – many have gone on to work for big firms like Apple, Bain, McKinsey, Uber, and Accenture!

Join us for an unforgettable summer in an incredible city.
