Totally worthwhile. I learned a lot about myself and now am excited to do more traveling in the future.

I enjoyed living in the city, not in a school sponsored setting. However it was challenging at first to find a place, but everyone at the center was extremely helpful.

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I wish I had more of an opportunity to meet people native to the city.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I always felt safe in the heart of the city.

I think you could have done it a variety of ways. The biggest expense over the entire trip was rent.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Check for student pricing, avoid super touristy restaurants, make your lunch, buy a monthly oyster card pass.
