yes. I didn't know what I would find but it surpassed my expectations! I want to go back.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

My classes were not that difficult, except that they were all in a foreign language. They did not give homework, but the finals were tough. You had to make yourself learn the material. It was a really nice break from the craziness of my usual schedule.

He was great. He tried to help as much as he could. It was a mutual learning process.

I felt really safe where I went. A lot safer than at my university.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 35-50 euros on food. Others depended on the week and if I went shopping.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Don't spend it all on your first few trips. Plan out and buy tickets in advance.

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? Intermediate
What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? An upper division french class.

Language acquisition improvement?

A couple people I lived near spoke english, but other than that I practiced french with all of the french students, teachers, friends, and other foreign students.
