What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was worthwhile, and I gained confidence, I gained language skills, I gained more international knowledge then I expected, and I learned a lot about myself while being abroad.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I may have had many up and downs, but I did have the pleasure of meeting great people, and experiencing a culture that is typically known for being the complete opposite of my own.

It was difficult will abroad

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? early on about $75 a week on food, and then about $25 towards the end
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Don't try to live off of your normal student budget, save up a few thousand more.

Do you have any tips/advice on the best ways to practice the language for future study abroad participants? For me, where I was, the people didn't speak English very well, so I was forced to learn a lot of beginner level Korean. I also took a course over Korean while I was there, I would recommend studying some of the language before leaving, and never assume people will know your language.
