Review Your Program

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

It was hard for me to concentrate on school while being in a foreign country, but the classes were beneficial.

I paid and made my own food.

My living situation allowed me to make many amazing friends!

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I never had to use health services, but my friends had positive experiences. I always felt very safe in a huge city.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 500-700
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Money for going out was a large expense. Alcohol is very expensive in Sydney, as is public transportation. Food is also very expensive, as is laundry where I was living.
