London: Never Stop Moving, Never Stop Learning Past Review

By (MBA Healthcare Management, Quinnipiac University) for

ISA Study Abroad in London, England

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
We were only in London for 10 days and our time there was very scheduled and regimented. We had only an afternoon or two on our own. I am in the process of planning a trip to see the rest of the UK (while stopping back in London too, of course)

Personal Information

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

our host was very informative and made sure to plan trips/excursions outside of lectures she know would be appropriate for our group. we were mostly young 20's MBA's experiencing London for the first time and so most visits around the city were very exciting and interesting to us. She was well-informed of the city and small details about the buildings, etc and was able to share such knowledge with us.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Because English was the language spoken, we did not have any issues. but being able to live with another member of our group was comforting and I enjoyed the arrangements very much

* Food:

I am not a big fan of British cuisine, but where we were staying, there were many convenience shops and a cafe within the building that allowed for us to purchase other food.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I was exhausted by the end of the trip, but it was because we never stopped moving. When we were not in lectures, we were sightseeing or taking a tour through a new city. We were able to see so much in such a short amount of time, I am very grateful.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)
