What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
There isn't enough room to insert my comments on how great it was! Truly it was the best decision I have ever made! My future plans now directly revolve around culutural impacts of my reseearch and I have applied for a grant to return to Italy!

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The schooling was great, more independent type studies, read on your own, and the professors were well-traveled and from diverse backgrounds, lots of experience!

Amazing staff!!!! My expectations were exceeded!!!!!

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Best location, everything was provided and more, the family was very very welcoming!!!!! Can't say enough good things!

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

All of the weekend and day trips were very well-planned and to great locations! I highly recommend all of them!

I practiced it with my host family and friends I made, also a language exchange partner. A lot of people spoke English since it was a very touristic area.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Must love and be very curious to know Italian culture, food, and people. Someone who is social, wants to migle in piazzas, loves history and architecture, and is open to trying new things.
