Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? 0-2 weeks

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I love Australia as a country, but I absolutely do not like the academic system here; it is very impersonal.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Decent

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Housing was good, but I had very annoying male roommates who just smoked weed all the time. The best part about it was that I got my own room and bathroom!

* Food:

I had to go grocery shopping once a week (did not have a meal plan). Due to this, I was able to learn how to cook.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I made friends with a lot of Australians :)

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Did not have any issue with health care

* Safety:

I felt very safe

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? about $75
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? just save A LOT of money! especially for Australia.. it is super expensive here... and the quantities are very small
