Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I took pretty easy classes and would have done something more challenging in rerospect, but it is hard because of the language barrier. The style of teaching and grading is totally different, andthe students are not that willing to help foreigners because we often don't understand/pull our weight.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Loved the staff, sometimes felt a bit childish the amount of guidance given, but mostly I liked it

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

loved my second host family, felt like a daughter. With the first, felt like a hostel.

* Food:

loved it! such good food, gained lots of weight

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

3 trips to different cultural sights, really great quality

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

super safe, never had any problems

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I spent more on travel and on food than on anything else...
