Life changing! Past Review

IFSA: London - King's College London

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was definitely worthwhile. You learn a lot about independence and taking care of yourself both physical and mentally. Because IFSA does not have any "host families", you are essentially a "regular" full time student. Students can design their study abroad experience however they want.

I enjoyed attending Kings College London because of the rigorous academics. I attend a small college so it was very interesting attending uni at a larger research university. IFSA provides you with resources if you need academic assistance and also provides cultural visits and explorations in your study abroad city! Everyone at the office is very kind and understanding.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 100
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Eating at home is important, especially if much of your budget might be spent on transportation
