What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The study abroad experience was worth every bit i put into it (energy, money, stress,thought,etc). What i gained from it was independence, knowledge , friends, understanding of a whole new culture, chances of a life time. Most importantly, a whole new outlook on life.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program was perfect. When i had a difficult time at one point regarding a teacher, they were there with suggestions and support. They were always interested on how i was doing and let me know they were there if i needed them. The excursions were executed very well and were alot of fun. If i had to do it again, i would still choose this same program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Enjoyed it, except for fire alarms early in the morning, but nothing to do about that :)

* Food:

I love the food in scotland. And yes they do fry everything, but i ended up eating healthier than ever. Such alot of fruit and vegetables at a very good price.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I think i fully experienced the scottish culture what with friends and family overseas showing me it in full and i enjoyed it. I enjoyed going to different places in scotland and learning about scotland's culture in general.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

The program covered and everything and i felt safe.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? No

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I dont know specific numbers, all i know is this : Budget all you like, but remember to stick to it. Its hard but worth it, but remember not to be stingy. How many times are you going to be abroad and have the chances that are in front of you in front of you?

Language

Language acquisition improvement?

Its not quite easy to understand the glasgow accent, but i eventually caught on and now i feel i can understand everyone as a whole better
