What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I felt like a grew more as a person than anything I learned in the classroom especially because the work in the classroom is so independent. But through the good times and the bad it was so worth it! I wouldn't take it back for anything.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The program is as rigorous as you want it to be. For a second year Painting and Printmaking student the tudors didn't keep track of you constantly so you were free to do as much or a little work as you wanted.

Fortunately I never needed them but they were always available to answer any questions and were extremely nice!

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Margaret McDonald was a good place to live. I had my own room and shared bathrooms. I lived with six other people and there were never any problems. The only bad thing about it is there were so many fire alarms.

I cooked my own food

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

My flatmates were extremely nice! I felt much more integrated because of them.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I never had any problems. Glasgow is a very safe place theres lots of people walking everywhere all the time. Just look both ways when crossing the street!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I was okay lots of pasta but it is much more expensive then at home.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew just how unstructured the classes were going to be and to go into the program with more of a plan of the art I wanted to do.
