What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Learned a lot about my own independence, how to navigate a city. Definitely worthwhile, but don't underestimate how difficult moving to a new country on your own can be!

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Work and learning was very independent, and I found that when assistance was needed, it was difficult to get from professors. IFSA program workers on the other hand were great in helping to transition academically

On-site administration of your program

Provided lots of information for getting around Edinburgh, Scotland, Europe and were excellent support academically

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Program was very helpful in finding healthcare (physicians etc) when students needed

* Safety:

Edinburgh's rated one of the safest cities in the UK

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

IFSA is incredible well organized, they take you on wonderful excursions, and are often available to assist you in whatever you need.
