Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

- manageable amount of work load, in fact sometimes too little - i think the professors cut us some slack because we were not domestic students

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

-it was a small group so i liked that - i hoped they would have given us more information on how we could travel around the country - more volunteering opportunities

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

- it got quite cold in the rooms later on - the internet usually had problems

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

the trip to the sahara desert was amazing beginning from the hotel to the camel ride and then spending the night on the oasis

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

- it was quite safe during the day, but i still wouldn't recommend a female student to be alone in certain parts of the city

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $1000
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? because of the exchange rate it is easy to get carried away and spend a lot of money towards the beginning; so i would say plan wisely

How would you rate your language skills at the beginning of the program? None
What was the highest level language course you had completed prior to departure? none
If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?
