I loved the experience with IES! I constantly talk about the great memories and friends that I made on the trip. I also say how much I miss it everyday!

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I liked to go out with friends during the week but we would do things that would cost money. Also while groceries weren't as expensive, they went bad quick. Would eat out a lot as a result.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Budget! Look for cheap flights, as they are out there! Plan ahead if traveling.
