I gained an open mind, an appreciation for traveling, and new friends/people to network with. I learned better time management skills and self dependence since I was living on my own. All of this was worth it.

I took 5 classes, each one 2 1/2 hours long except one that was a internship seminar that last 70 minutes. I had the library and the staff at my program to aid me with any questions I had and the homework was challenging but fair. |

Yes
The Dublin Writer's program had so much to offer and the people there were supportive. I was helped financially, with making tough decisions, and with my academic work. I also felt safe indoors and out so the entire experience was worthwhile. |

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Weekly food was not an issue for me though personally I failed to save up to go to places in Europe other than Rome. However, managing money was met with little difficulty |
| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | Food was 20-30 euros and public transportation to my internship was 20 euros a week. Each is equivalent to $25-35 |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Save in advance, apply to plenty of scholarships, use it wisely when at your study abroad destination so you don't spend it so soon, and spend it on yourself, not on others as much because it's your experience. |
