What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The IES Study Abroad experience is unique in its mixture of adventure, learning, and community involvement that not only allows you to learn about the environment in which you are living on a social and political level, but also brings you extremely close to your peers and your professors. The program allows you to connect with the locals and your surroundings in ways that leave you with an indelible impression of Cape Town and all it has to offer.

There is a reason that I think about Cape Town almost every day; that I keep up with my study abroad friends constantly and reminisce about what we all consider to be the best six weeks of our lives thus far.
