I learned about a place I've never been to before. I also learned skills in the film that I took back to my university.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

It is a very intensive course, but the experience is so worth it. The instructors are well experienced in film and always willing to help and answer questions.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

It is just a typical hostel. It is about a 10-15 minute walk to the university

The food in Auckland is very diverse and delicious

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Being in Auckland I learned about the local indigenous people and how different they are treated in New Zealand compare to the United States

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Auckland is a very safe city. We mostly traveled in groups at night just to be safer

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

This was one of the best months of my life. I learned not only about film but about myself
