ICN Business School Nancy-Metz: Nancy - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I understand more of how Europe works in the business aspect now with an emphasis on France itself. It has also improved my cultural awareness of France. This program actual solidified my choice of a major in the U.S. I took my first HRM class there and loved it.

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Work load got a little too much at times personally however most of the classes were very well taught. I learned a lot in most of the classes as well. Some were extremely interesting and I learned a lot. The test were split up well this year as well.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

The program size was great but even if it was larger it would have been just as fun. The city itself was very friendly and fun to explore. Metz also had everything you needed within walking distance. The class rooms provided for class were fine and so were the instructures. One of the downsides to the programs was that a few instructors were not clear in their teaching on what would be covered on the exam. With only having a few days to study for the exam it became diffcult at times. My expectations overall were met. I got to see much of France, created great memories, met fantastic people, learned more about european business and learned more about the French culture itself.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

I am a bread aholic so I loved the food they served personally. There is delicious bread at each meal (most people get sick of the bread by the end of the program). The rest of the food isnt too bad either even in the school cafeterias. The desserts were excellent as well at each meal.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

The fourth week of the program was my favorite because we travelled around France as a group. We went to Mount St. Michele which was one of my favorite spots as well as exploring Paris through the program oriented events.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

The city seemed very safe but it is still a city. I always walked in pairs or a group at night and had no problems at all. I did get lost a few times in the begining but since I wasn't alone everything turned out fine just a very long detour which as a upside we got to see more of the city.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances
