What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Was definitely worthwhile. Gained a definite appreciation for a region in the world you don't usually hear good things about.

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The program was very enlightening. Everything we did was geared toward understanding what exactly the point of the excavation was.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Overall admin was great. With the lectures it probably would have been best to have received some earlier on in the program than we did as the info would have been great to have in the field.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

The kibutz we stayed at was very nice. very clean., but small.

* Food:

We ate like kings. So much food. I actually gained weight.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I didn't experience much of the local cultural as I would have liked as we really didn't leave the kibutz except maybe once or twice a week and never for very long.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Was never worried about safetly
