About

As a volunteer in Costa Rica, you will have many opportunities to explore a new country and improve your Spanish while helping make a positive impact. The illegal animal trade in this country is the third largest in the world, and this volunteer center was founded to give endangered, injured and abandoned animals a home. With kinkajous, toucans, macaws, parrots, peccaries and monkeys, you’ll discover why this reserve is so important for both the animals and the community. Unlike other rescue centers, this reserve is focused on rehabilitating animals and releasing the back into the wild.
