Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Teacher was great, the material was manageable. Adding different games and changing the way concepts where taught throughout the day helped. A lot less stressful and information packed than a course at my university.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Could use better internet connection at the Institut and also inform students that are provided housing through the progam whether or not an internet connection will be available.

* Food:

Try to go shopping more because Berlin has great food vendors.

* Safety:

No problems with health. Never felt my saftey was threatened, but still try not to travel alone at night.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? 120 Euros
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Try to budget groceries during the first week to avoid the trap of no work meals. Price can add up.
