This Summer in the Mediterranean: Early Christianity program traces the footsteps of the Apostles as they advanced Christianity westward through Cyprus, Greece and Italy. You will study the history of early Christian thought and art from a home base in Cyprus, a beautiful and historic island at the crossroads of Europe and the Middle East, and the first country to convert to Christianity.
Outside the classroom, students have visited monasteries in the mountains of Cyprus, the cave where the Apocalypse was written and the Vatican.
Program Excursions:
Greece: Athens and the Greek Islands (Rhodes, Patmos, Tinos, Paros)
Italy: Rome
Cyprus: Paphos, Limassol, Ayia Napa and The Troodos Mountains

This award is for semester students with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above. Students must mail their official transcript to Global Learning Semesters for verification. This award can only be combined with our Early Deposit Discount.

Global Learning Semesters awards the Takis Chrysanthou Honored Scholar Award to one student each semester. The student must be attending a semester-long program that is home-based in Cyprus. The award winner is selected based on academic merit, expected contribution to the group experience, and financial need. This award is a $2,500 discount that is credited against program fees.
