What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained amazing friends, a new perspective on what I want to do with my life, and got to experience all the amazing things London has to offer!

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

There were full kitchens in every flat which was nice because eating out in London can get expensive. So a lot of us began buying food at the grocery store and cooking in the dorm to save money. It was nice to be able to eat what I wanted and not have to eat dining hall food.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

London is an expensive city, but if you plan ahead and budget well it is easy to save money!

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? $300

* Did your program have a foreign language component? No

A Look Back

* What did you like most about the program?
  • That there were social events that were planned so we would have a chance to meet the other students, but we also had plenty of free time to explore and go out on our own as well.
* What could be improved?
  • Some of my friends did not like how there was no meal plan included in this program.
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I knew how much I'd love it in London because I would've signed up for the 6 week program instead of the 3 week one!
