Yes, it definitely was. I had a lot of fun, learned french, while being in an awesome city. After being in Montreal for 6 weeks, I didn't really want to leave, and I can't wait to go back for a weekend. John T - George Mason University View Entire Review
About
This program is open to all undergraduate Mason students, including high school seniors who plan to attend George Mason University (admission required). The program is not open to non-Mason students. This is a transfer credit summer school program through the University of Québec at Montréal (UQAM). Mason faculty will not accompany the group.
This unique French language program is designed so that Mason students can complete the full university language requirement (9 credits) in 6 weeks! Open to beginning, intermediate, and advanced students. Classes explore French vocabulary, grammar, language functions (agreeing and disagreeing, for instance), reading, writing, listening, speaking, and pronunciation. By the end of this program, students should expect to have a better understanding and mastery of French but also a deeper familiarity and kinship with Montreal and Quebec society.
