Overall Experience
Be proactive and talk to your peers. If you encounter some problems, chances are others have/are experiencing the same! - Wellesley College View Entire Review
January 30, 2024 Unique
I learned more about the international community including law and institutions which made it very worthwhile - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I took a lot of interesting classes from professors who were experts in their field and strengthened my writing skills - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Geneva is a great location if you are interested in working for international organizations. There are numerous networking events in and outside of school that you will get a lot of opportunities to meet people who are currently working in one of the international organizations in Geneva or have worked there before. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Grew a lot in terms of learning to be really independent and how to thrive in a completely international city. Was worthwhile, but I felt unsupported initially. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
The program was excellent academically and gave me a crash course in living completely independently (which was a bit overwhelming at times but ultimately a good experience). The other students there were fantastic and since it is a graduate program, had often had careers of their own before returning to higher education (though... - Wellesley College View Entire Review
January 16, 2022 A Wonderful Experience
Definitely a great experience for students interested in gaining a more diverse perspective. The challenges along the way are great learning experiences. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
January 03, 2022 A Mixed Eperience
I learned a lot from my courses. I learned French and how to cook for myself, handle my living expenses, and be responsible for my daily routine without my support network close. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I enjoyed the classes and am looking forward to going back next year in person. I think remote study abroad isn't worth it if you won't be able to attend in person later. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I met so many wonderful people and I got to learn so much about the profession I want to join - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I'd say what I gained the most from the Graduate Institute was the insight I gained from the diverse and supportive atmosphere. The students there truly represent the world and that was super valuable in class. It was definitely worthwhile. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Being exposed to graduate school classes and atmosphere was really insightful for my final semester at college. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I got to meet a diverse group of people, live in a new country with international students in an apartment, live life in a non-American context, and forced myself out of my comfort zone. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Having grown up mostly in East Asia and the United States, the program in Geneva was an amazing opportunity to view global issues from a more European point of view. I would definitely enroll again. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I gained not only academic knowledge from my classes but more significantly for me personally, a lot about different cultures and what life in Europe can look like. It was absolutely worthwhile and I’d consider living in Europe after I graduate. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
December 12, 2023 Would Not Recommend
I learned how to live independently. Overall, the program was a net neutral. Not worthwhile but not entirely useless. - Wellesley College View Entire Review

Yeah - Wellesley College View Entire Review
It was a great experience on living more independently. It was incredibly worthwhile. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Friends, language skills, incredible experiences. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
I learned a lot academically, but also personally, about what I want to do with my life in the future, and where I want to live. It was definitely worthwhile. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
It was a remote program because of Covid. I learned a lot in terms of academics but missed out a lot in terms of social life. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
It was worthwhile and a bit challenging - I've gained more maturity trying to solve problems with the cantonal office, the banks, registration, and navigating a new space where I don't speak the same language as others. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
It was overall an eye opening experience for someone who has never studied in this continent, and it helped me to understand the world better as a whole. Did I like it? No. But am I glad I got this experience? Yes. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Past Review Positive
Yes - Wellesley College View Entire Review
Academic confidence, depth and initiative; enjoying school again; connections with professors and peers; professional development; independence; so much fresh air that it was impossible to not improve my health. - Wellesley College View Entire Review
