How to survive in foreign countries. How to be friendly with new people. How to adapt to new environment. These things would adapt to my whole life. Jae Geun Lyu - Chungnam National University View Entire Review
It was totally worthwhile. I could go out from my comfort zone, I lived alone for the fisrt time, I made friends from different countries and I learned a lot about the European Union. Juanita López - Universidad La Salle View Entire Review
I think I learned the most (not only about the classes I took, but also about life) through my connection with other students, my professors, and the fellow friends I made that lived in my dorm. Like I said, thanks to all the international perspectives that were brought up during class discussions, it was eyeopening to talk abou... Yes, it was worthwhile. I learned a lot. Gabriel Falcini dos Santos - Universidad Estadual De Campinas - UNICAMP View Entire Review
Now, I can understand when people talk fast in German A student - Universidad de los Andes View Entire Review
Taught me a lot about the world, opened my eyes. Zachary C - University of Arkansas - Fayetteville View Entire Review
Absolutely. I really enjoyed getting to know the city and people, met very interesting and different people, made really good friends, and my German language ability improved. What more could you ask for? Danielle H - Harvard University View Entire Review
I love it. It's help me become more patient and accepting towards others. As well, I don't care as much about the little things, I'm happy and content with who I am and what I have to offer to myself and others. Maya B - University of Kentucky View Entire Review
My experience abroad was extremely worthwhile. It taught me how to take care of myself, and live independently in another country. I also gained many friends, from Germany as well as from other countries, and it was a lot of fun to learn about other cultures and learn a new language. A student - CUNY - Queens College View Entire Review
1. International perspective - the course I enrolled in was inherently one that had an international perspective - it's in the name (Law... in Comparative Perspective). Furthermore, the students that participated in this program were diverse. We had participants from the US, Australia, Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Brazil, Korea... Johnny Nguyen - University of Western Sydney View Entire Review
I am convinced that my true academic calling is still towards Meister Eckhart, but through the path of a Germanist rather than as a theologian. Harsh Kumar Verma - King's College London View Entire Review
I've gained friends from all over the world and got to see the persistent effects of German History in Berlin. Therefore, it was definetely quite worth it. Vivian - University of Sao Paulo (USP) - Universidade de São Paulo View Entire Review
I learned a lot about Eurozone economics and the German culture as a whole. Given the chance, I would drop everything and fly back immediately. Natalie J - University of Northern Iowa View Entire Review
YES! I learned way more German than I expected and became genuinely comfortable with the language. I also learned a lot about myself from living (fairly) independently in a new country. Danielle H - Harvard University View Entire Review
I gained a better understanding of myself as a student and a person, and of the world. I gave my experience five stars because I truly enjoyed getting to know people from Europe and being able to improve my German so much after working on it in America for so long.
