What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Gained a multicultural experience. Learned the "do's and don'ts" of traveling. Gained some great personal references for future careers. Really makes me focused on what I want to do in life.

Personal Information

How much international exposure did you have prior to this program? 1 month - 6 months

Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The workload wasn't terribly, luckily everybody was studying everything at the same time during HW and Tests, so that helped to keep the distractions to a minimum. Learned a ton about the EU's economic situation and politics in relation to the US and Asia. We went to many professional visits and organizations like UN, WTO, UNESCO and now I have many good references from these places. I'm really glad that I went and I had an AMAZING time. Everybody had a great time with everything that we did.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

We went to many countries, so we didn't have one set classroom which was really fun and made learning a new experience each time.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

We were traveling through Europe to learn about business, economics and politics, not language, but we did pick up many words from different languages and was able to practice the languages we learned in school. We stayed mainly in 4-5 star hotels, which was really nice!

* Food:

we mainly had to buy our own food except for breakfasts.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

great way to experience different types of culture all around Europe

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Everybody on the program is covered under an insurance policy, so if you get hurt or sick and need treatment for it, then you will be 100% re-imbursed after the trip. Safety depends on how many activities you participate in such as going canyoning or paragliding in Switzerland.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Language

If applicable, to what degree did your living situation aid your language acquisition?
