A month of excitement Past Review

European Study Center: Heidelberg - Summer Program in the EU

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Everyone should at least once try studying abroad. I definitely acquired important personal and professional skills like adaptability, flexibility, communication in foreign languages, relationship building, problem solving, leadership, time management, organization, analytically evaluate information, self-discipline, and independence. By living abroad you are not a tourist, but you have to develop your global, international, and interpersonal cultural competence and maintain an open mind. Be surprised by what you can achieve away for the comfort of your home country and be ready to be exposed to unexpected situations -and a lot of traveling! Change is a challenge, but during your journey you will discover how strong you are and how much you can achieve by getting out of your comfort zone. Prepare to be amazed!
