What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I gained an appreciation for other cultures. I also gained some awesome friends in the process. I learned the local language and what it is like to live in Europe. It was definitely worthwhile.

This was an experience that would have been very different in a different country. Loved Germany, loved Heidelberg, loved the program.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Try to hold yourself to a budget as much as you can. I don't recommend exchanging money unless you have to. Exchange fees will be higher than fees at ATMs.
