ESSCA Business School: Angers - Direct Enrollment & Exchange

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
yes it was worthwhile. I got to see things that I've only been taught about, and I got to see them with some of the best people that I have ever met. The group I was placed with made the trip 100 times better.

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Normandy was great. Everything we saw in Brussels: the Parliament, Lobbyists, the Commission. As well as all of the speakers in Brussels were awesome. Paris was just beautiful.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

The coordinator was always making sure we were okay. If anything went wrong she was willing to help and bring us to the right places.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? I would spend around 7euros for lunch, up to 20 euros for dinner. It really helped to buy groceries so you could make sandwiches and have breakfast foods.
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? I did not expect to buy groceries at all so make sure you have money for that.
