This program was great. It was a small city but I found that I was discovering new things even up until the end of my trip. I had a lot of fun, made a lot of friends, got to practice my Spanish and felt safe / comfortable. |

My host family was so welcoming. They made me a part of the family while I was there. |

At times I felt like I stuck out a bit because I look nothing like a Spaniard but I was always teated well and the locals were friendly. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
You have insurance and the hospitals take care of you extremely fast. The faculty member that accompanies the students will take you to the doctor if you are not feeling well. |

The police academy is located in Ávila so its an extremely safe city. |
