About

Junior, senior, and graduate students can gain practicum experience by working with the Caribbean Kids Family Therapy Organization in Trinidad! The Caribbean Kids Family Therapy Organization (CKFTO) is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to helping patients who are in need of therapy because of developmental, physical, cognitive, behavioral, emotional, learning, social and communication challenges. Students will spend the weekdays working at the clinic and helping patients. The weekend will be spent exploring the wonderful country of Trinidad. Eligible students must be CDS majors who have completed fall junior-level coursework (CDS 3100, CDS 3200, CDS 3700). CDS juniors, seniors, and graduate students are eligible for this study abroad opportunity.
