What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I made a lot of friends through the ECCO program that I will stay in touch with for a long time, as well as Italian friends that I am still in touch with. My ability to speak and write the language also improved immensely.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The program really pushes you to use your Italian skills because all the courses are taught in the language.

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived in an apartment-style dorm of four people, however some people had to live in apartments of 12 people which seemed too much.

* Food:

We got 13 euros a day to spend on food, which was definitely sufficient.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

Taking classes at the University of Bologna really helped to meet other Italian students.
