What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I improved so much in my comprehension of Italian, and learned a lot about Italian culture. It was definitely worth it.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

The professors of the in-house courses were very kind, and patient with all of us while we became more proficient with our Italian.

The E.C.Co. staff is wonderful!! They go out of their way to help you with whatever you need, and are very supportive.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

We lived with other Unibo students who were not part of our program. I had a lot of fun with them, and learned new cultural info, as well as very useful slang that I wouldn't have learned in a classroom.

* Food:

You are responsible for all of your food, but the food in Bologna is amazing.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Bologna is amazing, the E.C.Co. staff is wonderful, and my Italian improved tenfold.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I had saved up a bit more to help pay for travel expenses, and that certain things, like catcalling, would probably happen.
