Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Class was intense but incredibly rewarding- The Good Life: Philosophy Of Happiness.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

We had a lot of autonomy but DIS personnel were standing by literally 24/7 in case we needed anything.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Incredible location, great community, but a few too many spiders. In Denmark they’re all non-venomous, but there were still more than we would have preferred.

* Food:

All DIS provided food was incredible, though most meals are on your own.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

Every student receives a Danish medical card and access to on-call DIS doctors

* Safety:

Copenhagen is without a doubt the safest city imaginable. It blew my mind how there’s such a culture of trust here which makes crime incredibly rare. Neither I nor anyone I lived with had any incidents.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

It was incredible. I wouldn’t trade this experience for any other

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Copenhagen is very expensive, but if you eat exclusively from food you cook yourself it’s fairly cheap. Just don’t expect to go out much if this is a factor.

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? ~$175
