What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I feel that I gained insight into Danish cultural identity and have a better understanding of the unique position of Scandinavian countries within Europe.

The program offered a great introduction to life in Denmark, and there was lots of support to make the transition to living abroad as easy as possible. The only part that I was disappointed with was the level of the classes. I felt that they were more introductory courses and much easier than my normal classes at my university. While this allows more free time to explore Copenhagen, I would have liked more intensity in the academic component.

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I wish I had known that the focus was more on the experience of living in Denmark than on academic work in the courses themselves.
