Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Shop at the local grocery stores (Netto, Fakta). Don't buy individual meals at restaurants like tourists do. Even the McDonald's here is overpriced. If you want to save money on housing (cutting down about 75% on what you'd pay with program housing), search a Danish housing site like lejebolig and make arrangements on your own. Invest in a bike if you live within 30 minutes from classes.
