What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
Definitely worthwhile. While I didn't really learn all that much, I met so many great people and had so many great experiences that it was 100% worth it. In fact I'm thinking about working abroad after I graduate.

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

Pretty light workload.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

Their administration was on campus and very accessible.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

I lived at a danish hoejskole. It was an AWESOME experience. Not only did I become great friends with many danish students, I also got tons of free food, and free coffee/tea. This was probably the best part of my study abroad experience.

* Food:

Delicious.

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I traveled to Finland and Estonia. It was definitely an experience of a lifetime. I got to go sauna-ing/ice-lake-jumping, which was surprisingly relaxing.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

Denmark is EXTREMELY safe. In fact, I don't think I have felt safer anywhere in the US.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? No.
