DIS Copenhagen: Semester

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was worthwhile...I learned a lot and am I more evolved young woman now. However the people on my program were all from the East Coast and were wealthy, privileged and apathetic. I had a hard time connecting with them. The Danes were also challenging to get to know. My living situation was isolating and disappointing.

We mostly practiced in the classroom. The Danes are very proficient English speakers; therefore when you when out into Copenhagen, Danes would prefer to speak English than Danish. This made it hard to practice.
