What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
I learned so much about Danish and Scandinavian culture! I am so so glad I was able to go and take advantage of the opportunity to travel as well.

Food was not provided by the program. Grocery stipend was very very helpful!

I think the nature of the mostly-american program makes it a little bit more difficult to integrate, but with personal effort it was very possible!

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

I felt very safe in Copenhagen!

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Copenhagen is expensive!

Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? Groceries- probably 40-50$ a week
Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? Be careful with the little things- coffee, pastries, etc

Danish Language & Culture

Comments: I did not like this class. I think that the scope of the course is much too broad for the length of the semester. The culture sections focused mainly on history, art, and religion. Although very important, I did not feel as connected to modern day culture .
