Denmark: Good choice for most Past Review

DIS Copenhagen: Semester

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
It was worthwhile but when I reached Denmark I realized that it didn't fit my personality at all. It really felt like the only kind of social interaction I could have with other students was to go out at night and drink. That is not what I like to do so it was hard to interact with people my age. Not anybody else's fault other than mine. I just wish I would have known before I chose it.

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? If you like drinking a lot and have a good tolerance for nighttime activities then this would be good for you. Also, be aware that the Scandinavian countries are almost double the price of the US. Just something to be aware of when you choose where you want to go, if budget is something crucial then I don't suggest Denmark. The country was beautiful and there were many opportunities for traveling so that was awesome!
