Review Your Program

* Overall educational experience

Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc.

I loved the hands-on learning and focus on writing papers instead of exams. It really helped me learn more than back at my home university.

* Host Country Program Administration

On-site administration of your program

DIS is an amazing program and I appreciated that they organized every aspect of abroad for us

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

* Food:

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

I had local roommates which helped a lot. Some people did not, though, and did not get as much exposure to locals.

* Health Care:

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

* Safety:

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

DIS does everything for you to make sure that you have the best and easiest experience possible. I loved the study tours because I both learned a lot and felt that I was able to build meaningful connections with my teacher and other students and gain additional cultural immersion in other countries.

Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?

(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost)

Copenhagen is expensive! I rarely ate out and tried to save money where I could.
