DIS Copenhagen: Semester

What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
That’s a huge question. It was worthwhile and I learned tons of stuff. In one word though, perspective. That was the biggest takeaway I suppose.

  • classes were insanely easy. but I guess I shouldn’t be complaining
  • cost
  • they really baby you, not like we’ve never been abroad but like we’ve never lived without our parents
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? I don’t think there’s anything I wish I had known. There’s a lot I learned while there and maybe would have made it easier if I had known before but that’s all kind of stuff you have to find out for yourself, you know?

Reasons For Studying Abroad

To help future students find programs attended by like-minded individuals, please choose the profile that most closely represents you.
The Avid Adventurer
The wardrobe you packed was better suited for a semester of camping than club hopping. Outdoorsy, you might forgo a crazy night out for an early all-day adventure. You'd rather take in the rich culture of an old town than the metropolis of a modern city, but for you getting off the grid is ideal.
