What did you gain/learn from your experience abroad? Was it worthwhile?
The most important lessons were learned outside of the classroom. I learned invaluable navigation skills and street smarts which will inevitably benefit me in the future. I learned a great deal about culture and human nature during my time abroad. This time abroad exceeded my expectations.

I think Denmark is an extremely livable and safe city. I felt comfortable and at home within days of being halfway across the world from the place I normally call home. The program itself was amazing. I loved the study tours and field studies that really set the DIS program apart.

  • small food stipend especially in such an expensive country
* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? People say to manage your budget and watch your expenses but it is of the utmost importance to pick and choose what is important before thinking that every trip and every meal is necessary and will enhance your abroad experience.
