Yes- I learned how to navigate cities, how to examine the culture of different countries (including my own), and how different social and economic structures can function successfully.

DIS is a wonderful, organized program situated in the center of Copenhagen. While I did not find the courses difficult, they were certainly interesting, and professors were undoubtedly experts in their fields. I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to get a taste of Denmark.

Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? If you choose to travel, know how to get from the airport to your living arrangement. Also, stay near where you want to be in the city. I found transportation around town was my most unexpected expense.
