I loved the large amount of hands on and experiential learning that was incorporated into this program.

Everyone at DIS was very helpful and willing to accommodate needs.

* Housing:

How satisfied were you with your living arrangements?

Stay in a kollegium, then you get to be with Danes and Americans, it's the best of both worlds.

* Food:

expensive but fantastic

* Social & Cultural Integration:

How integrated did you feel with the local culture?

live with danes, its the only way to get to know them. they extremely closed off and keep to themselves otherwise.

How well were health issues addressed during the program?

I always felt extremely safe wherever I was in Copenhagen.

If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? Yes

I loved the environment and amazing friends I made abroad, I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Finances

It is crazy expensive, be ready.

A Look Back

* What do you know now that you wish you knew before going on this program? Not everyday will be a picturesque vacation, some days are hard and lonely. But looking back the good days out shadowed the bad ones by far.
