* Overall educational experience
Academic rigor, intensity, resources, etc. |
Rigor was not crazy, but the content was incredible. I learned about so many things that I was actually interested in and therefore got more out of the experience especially because the rigor was not as hard so I was able to tailor the experience towards what I was most interested. Because of that I feel I came out of the semester retaining the most knowledge compared to any semester at Middlebury, and with an idea of what I would like to do as a career. |

On-site administration of your program |
They have everything down to a science - it is large so you don't really get to know any of the administration but they take care of everything for you. |

* Housing:
How satisfied were you with your living arrangements? |
Bummed to not really have the opportunity to meet any Danes, but the Green LLC was incredible! I met so many amazing people and got to see some amazing sustainable parts of the country. |

It is what you make of it - cook for yourself |

* Social & Cultural Integration:
How integrated did you feel with the local culture? |
I learned a ton about the culture, but it's really hard to integrate into the culture because the program is full of Americans. Definitely don't choose this if you're looking for a super immersive experience. |

How well were health issues addressed during the program? |
Healthcare is covered! But no dental :( which is sadly the one thing I needed while there |

Only thing to worry about is getting your bike stolen |
| If you could do it all over again would you choose the same program? |
Yes
I loved Copenhagen, the Americans I met, the few danes I met, the program was amazing they have so many resources, and I found my passion! |
Finances

* Money: How easily were you able to live on a student's budget?
(1 = not very easy/$200+ on food & personal expenses/week, 2.5 = $100/week, 5 = very easily/minimal cost) |
Copenhagen is an expensive city, but if you are frugal with your food stipend you can make it last!! Never NEED to spend money but it's hard not to and if you want to have a good time you will spend a lot. |
| Not including program expenses, about how much money did you spend on food and other expenses each week? | $50 |
| Do you have any general money-saving tips for future study abroad participants? | Cook meals with other people it helps save so much money! And food goes bad in Denmark super fast cause there are no preservatives. Drink at home and then go to the bars/clubs, if you buy drinks out all the time you will go broke |

| Comments: | THE MOST INCREDIBLE CLASS I HAVE EVER TAKEN! The study tour was to Greenland and it was so unreal. Amazing professors who are doing such cool work for climate science - so much information to learn but super interesting!! |

| Comments: | This class was not taught in a way that was receptive to me, it was very independent, and fast paced, and it was incredibly difficult to get through the material. By the end of it you do a pretty cool project, and have some good resources to use, but in general I don't feel like I can completely describe much of what was done in that class. |
