Becoming better acquainted with Danish culture was definitely worthwhile; understanding some of the issues in modern Danish society gave me a better appreciation for the United States and other countries I had previously visited. At the same time, I'm appreciative of the opportunity to have learned about Danish culture, understood the nuances of the welfare state, and become better acquainted with the political climate in Scandinavia.

No
Although I enjoyed my courses with DIS Copenhagen and all the program had to offer, I am not sure whether I would choose to return to Denmark for the Spring semester if I had the opportunity. I would say a mixture of the long commute, uncomfortable living situation, and other stressful experiences made it difficult to thoroughly enjoy the program overall. |
